FAQ
Can I use a fabric stamp on cloth / textiles?
Yes — you absolutely can. Our fabric stamp (with handle) works best when used with our VersaCraft ink pad, which is specially formulated for printing on fabric. For durability, heat-set the stamped impression so it becomes washable.Which fabrics work best with fabric stamps?
Natural fibres like cotton, linen, muslin and canvas yield the best results. These materials absorb ink well and produce crisp impressions. Avoid heavily textured or shiny synthetics — they tend to give uneven prints. How do I heat-set the print so it lasts through washes?
After stamping, wait for the ink to dry naturally (usually a few minutes). Then use a dry iron or heat press (no steam) for about 2 minutes over a cloth barrier. This step “locks in” the image, helping it resist fading in future washes. Will my print wash out over time?
If heat-set properly, impressions made with our VersaCraft ink pad are very wash-resistant. However, longevity depends on care: wash on a gentle cycle, avoid strong detergents or bleach, and turn garments inside out. Over time, any print may fade slightly — but with good care, it should last many washes. Can I design my own motif or logo for the fabric stamp?
Yes — we love custom designs. You can upload your logo, initials or artwork when you order. We engrave it onto the rubber face so your design becomes the printed image. How do I get a clear print without smudges or blurred edges?
A few tips for crisp results:Press evenly and straight down (don’t rock)
Use a stable, firm surface (place a board or cardboard under the fabric)
Use minimal but sufficient ink (too much leads to bleed)
Practice on scrap fabric firstHow should I clean and care for my fabric stamp?
Gently clean the rubber surface by blotting or soft dabbing (use a damp cloth). Avoid submerging the wood or soaking the stamp — water can weaken the adhesive. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners, which can degrade the rubber. Are replacements or refills available for the ink pad?
Yes — we supply replacement Versacraft ink pads so you can continue stamping once the original pad runs low. What sizes are available for fabric stamps?
We offer multiple sizes — from small square or round stamps (e.g. ~1 in / 25 mm) to larger rectangles or rounds — so you can choose the right scale for your design, bag, garment or label
